Founded by two ex-Coinbase employees and backed by top investors including Coinbase, IDEO, and Kindred Ventures, Goldfinch is a decentralized credit platform that is using crypto to empower financial inclusion around the world.

Our vision is to build a global network that allows anyone to be a lender, not just banks. Since launching the protocol in December 2020, we've gone from zero to serving thousands of borrowers across three continents with a loan pool over $1M. And we're just getting started. We plan to scale the loan book to $10M+ in the next few months, and launch a decentralized network soon after to massively scale the types and amount of lending that we can support.

The Role

As Goldfinch's Community Lead, you will report directly to the founders, and be responsible for growing the Goldfinch community, building brand trust, and fostering a healthy culture. You'll design and lead our community strategy from the ground up, across multiple social channels, becoming a de-facto voice of the company.

What You'll Do

• Own Goldfinch's community strategy across multiple social channels
• Build our online presence and engage with the community, which may include:
  • Crafting both short and long form messaging on Twitter, Medium, or Discord
  • Consistently setting the tone for a healthy community culture
  • Organizing events (real or virtual) to excite and inform the community
  • Speaking at other crypto or finance events to spread the Goldfinch brand
  • Monitoring channels and DM's, answering questions, and enforcing community standards
• Provide guidance for the product roadmap, based on your synthesis of community feedback

Qualifications

• Outstanding written communication skills
• Experience maintaining an online presence, or actively participating in online communities
• Ability to work with little guidance and find paths forward
• Excitement about crypto!
